Every Whack Studio MIDI groove follows the General MIDI (GM) drum map, the standard most drum VSTs understand: the kick is note 36, the snare 38, the closed hi-hat 42. If a hit lands on the wrong drum in your VST, compare its mapping with this table, or pick the VST’s General MIDI preset.
DAWs name notes differently: Cubase, Ableton Live and Logic call note 60 “C3”, many others call it “C4”. Both columns are below.
