Hey, I am Naman, and Whack Studio is me. I have been playing rock and metal drums for over 15 years.
Most metal MIDI packs are programmed with a mouse, often by guitarists. They sit perfectly on the grid, and they sound like it. Every groove in the Whack Studio packs is played by me on an e-kit, so your songs keep the push and pull of a real drummer.
The packs are made to be a writing tool: grooves for each part of a song, labelled with their tempo, in the General MIDI drum map, so they drop into any DAW and any drum VST.
